Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island

I was in a car accident yesterday I was in the passenger seat and my roommate was in the driver seat the women who was in front of us backed into us not super hard but hard enough to move are car back a foot or two. I have always had lower back pains due to a slipped disk so me and my roommate went in to see a Lawyer today and we were telling her what happened and I asked her should me and my roommate get different lawyers due to the fact that I have a reacquiring injury and this accident could have made it worse she said no you guys don't need different lawyers we will represent you both with one lawyer but my questions is should I get my own Lawyer instead of having one for both of us. and is 33.3 percent sound about right on lawyer fees? also I am in the process of moving back to Oregon could I get a Lawyer back home that could handle my case here in Massachusetts

1/3 fee is the going rate.

If you want another lawyer you are entitle to seek other counsel.

If this lawyer is competent, then maybe they can handle your claim.
