Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island
A friend of mine rode my motorcycle I am the owner but my husband said he could but he told him that a piece needed to come off first but my friend said it would be ok he took the motorcycle out and he fell when he got up he said he was fine....the next day he went to the er now he wants me to pay for his medical bills what are my rights

You are not personally legally responsible for his bills. If the motorcycle was insured and has medical payments coverage (non fault based coverage) that can be used to pay his bills as he was a permissive driver. If there is no medical payments coverage you are not responsible. In fact he is responsible to pay for any damge to your motorcycle.
