What is the bodily injury tort threshold in Rhode Island?

I'm not sure what you mean by "bodily injury threshold."

RI has mandatory auto insurance coverage, but not "no-fault" like Massachusetts

and some other states where one must recover personal injury damages under a set "threshold" (such

as $5,000) from their own insurance company before they can make a claim against the other party and/or the other party's

insurance carrier.

Perhaps you were referring to the statute of limitations for personal injury actions ... If so, in general, a suit seeking

damages under tort theories (such as auto negligence) must be filed w/in 3 years of the date of the injury or incident.

However, there are exceptions, including without limitation, situations where minors are injured.
