liens on personal property
I loaned someone money and he wants to put a lien on his property in RI to secure the loan. How do we do this? Can we do it without an attorney in RI?

My suggestion is to work with an attorney in Rhode Island. Taking short cuts to save a few dollars always comes back to bite you in the end.
