I lived and worked in Saudi Arabia during 2001 (as a contract lawyer for SABIC). The US courts can do nothing for you. The Saudi Government, however, is very sensitive to ex-pat worker's contractual rights & benefits; I would bring this matter directly to the attention of the Ministry of Labor. Also, most Saudi newpapers publish a weekly column on labor law issues; You might present your case to a major newspaper (especially highlight the company's decision to "retire" you rather than pay your medical bill), get an answer favorable to you, and take that back to the company. Stay away from Saudi lawyers - they'll soak you and do nothing.
