if a christian couple separates, and the girl is the only kid of her family,
They have an infant of 1 year old(boy), whom does the kid goes to , is there any possibility that he goes to his father, the girls family was taking care of the baby till then.what does the christian laws says about this

Till the age of five years of child,mother is the natural guardian and thereafter father is the natural guardian.

in terms of the Guardianship & Wards Act, the custody of the child should be given to the party who is found to be most suitable for taking care of the child. the "paramount consideration" for the court to arrive a decision will be the 'welfare of the child'.

till the age of 5 the child is given in mothers custody however the paramount importance is about the welfare of the kid
it is a fact that the fighting parents dont think about the baby. so the court has to decide this.
