Legal Question in Personal Injury in Singapore

Singapore: Unintentional incident

One of my friend came from India to Singapore for a short term trip. He was travelling in a train, unfortunatly while getting down his hand was touched a lady unintentionally. Lady and her husband has filed a case against him. Friend company has taken him in bail and he needs to be produced in court after a month.

He need to get married in the 2 months later in India.

Please provide following questions.

1. how can he come out of this case now quickly?

2. what is the best solution for it ?

3. how to prove it was an accident and not an incident ?

Your statement is incomplete. Ordinarily, the international visitors in a situation like this may be subjected to separate procedures in criminal law to facilitate their departure out of country.

It may better to apologize to the Lady and her family and seek their help in bringing the matter to an end.
