What is the outcome if a defendant defaults (does not submitt defending papaers) on a Rule 43 Application for interim maintenance in South Affrica ?

The presiding judge can do two things. He can either postpone the Rule 43 Application or he can issue a default judgement. That means that he grants your application without hearing the other defaulter�s defence.
