How long are you allowed to stay in someone elses house and not pay rent, if your the only one that have the contract?

If you are the only one with the lease agreement, and the landlord want to pursue the matter in court, the landlord may have a subpoena issued to compel you to provide the landlord with a copy.
You may stay in the house until the landlord obtains a High Court Order directing that a eviction may now take place. This could take months.
