Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in South Africa

Hello - Can you give me advice? Is there any reason why a trust which was formed during the time my mom was alive, cannot be dissolved, to allow the 2 beneficiaries(my brother and I) to split the estate down the middle and each receive a cash payment?

Dear Sir,

That would depend upon the constitution of the trust (i.e the relevant trust deeds) as its should contain a provision relating to dissolution.
