Legal Question in Business Law in South Carolina
Can my business partner fire me?
My business partner and I are equal majority share holders in the company at 48% each, but she hold the title of President. Can she technically fire me? We have no employee handbook in place and there has been no misconduct, just a difference in opinion for the future of the company. She is responsible for the hiring and firing of our warehouse employees as part of her daily responsibilities

Re: Can my business partner fire me?
Your business partner can seek to dissolve the company. If you fear that your business partner will take advantage of you or if you do not know what your rights are when a business dissolves I suggest that you speak with an attorney.
