Legal Question in Business Law in South Carolina
Collections
I had a verbal agreement with a client to pay for T1 integration work. I did the work and they now refuse to pay the invoice, stating that my fees were included with what they paid another company for installing the T1, and that they signed nothing with me to do the work. However, they were the ones who gave the other company my name (their technical service provider) as the one who would provide the integration once the T1 is turned on. Do I have any strong recourse to collect what they owe me?

Re: Collections
You have a strong breach of contract claim. You may also be able to assert a Mechanics' Lien depending on how long ago the work was completed. If we can be of assistance, please give us a call. (864) 232-4400
