Legal Question in Business Law in South Carolina
Moving LLC from AZ to SC
My husband and I have an LLC in AZ. We are relocating to SC and would like to transfer our business to SC. How do we go about the creation/merger/dissolution process? We will of course need to transfer assets and bank accounts as well. Will we be able to keep our EIN?

Re: Moving LLC from AZ to SC
Is there a reason you are disolving in AZ? You may be able to simply file as a foreign entity operating in SC. As for your tax ID you will be able to keep it. Please contact my office if you have other questions.

We can do that by filing the proper paperwork with the secretary of state's office and yes, you can keep your EIN. For more information, contact my office.
