Legal Question in Business Law in South Carolina
I received a deposit to hold a pool table I sold over a week ago. They were going to pick it up on Friday 6/25. They called today and said it would not fit in there house and they want their deposit back. I took it off the market during that time. Do I have to give it back? I live in South Carolina

Any attorney will say more information is needed. What was the understanding about the deposit; was it refundable or nonrefundable? Nonrefundable deposits are usually exactly that. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
