Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
help
In 2004 i went to court and was given two years differed ajudiction probation for credit/debit card abuse-felony. It was extened for one year so i could pay off my fine but in oct of 2007 i completed it satisfactory. Is this consitered a conviction or a booking my probation officer at the time told me that it was only a booking and that i do not need to put it down on a job application can you claify this for me. Thank you

It sounds like you pled guilty and was sentenced to probation. If so, then yes, you have a criminal conviction. Did you go to court in front of a judge and plead guilty?
