I was charge with ABHAN Slightly tap a girl with my car and police watch the video haven't went to court(general session)yet talk to a judge which set me a preliminary hearing which he said he would give me probation but my question is am I looking at jail time or if the judge give me probation do I still have to take it to trail

You really, really need to sit down and talk with a lawyer. Its hard to read what you wrote since its all one long sentence. It would help if you used punctuation. That would be things such as periods and commas.

What I was able to make out of what you said, didn't sound like you have reliable information. First off, judges don't usually tell defendants what sentence they will give. That involves the solicitor, the victim, and the rest of the system. Also, the judge at the bond hearing and the judges at the preliminary hearings, are not general session judges. So whatever judge you have been in front of, is not the same judge that would be sitting in general sessions deciding your case.

There is not enough information in your question to advise you about probation, jail, going to trial, or anything else. You really need to talk with a lawyer.
