Re: arrest records of minors
Its hard to say. You really haven't provided a whole lot of information, such as what the crime was, how old you were (which makes a diffence since a lot of juvenile matters get sealed), whether you were convicted, etc.
30 years ago very little if anything was put into computers. Courts and different agencies attempted through out the years to enter information from hard copies into the computer systems. Not everything got entered. Its safe to bet that most major crimes were in deed put into the computers. However, not knowing what you were charged with, not knowing how old you were, not knowing if you were convicted or not, makes answering your question very difficult.
Sometimes what employers are looking for is honesty and are simply hoping that you will honesty answer the question.
You can purchase your own criminal record. I'm not positive, but I think if you look on the web site for the SLED site, (State Law Enforcement Division), there is information on how to obtain your record. You might also be able to get it from the FBI.
Good luck.
