Arrest Warrant
Can the SC detectives obtain an arrest warrant with only a co-defendants statement.

An arrest warrant is based on Probable Cause. That can be based on any reasonable evidence, regardless of the type, as long as it satisfies the Probable Cause requirements. Therefore, if any statements that the co-defendant makes could amount to Probable Cause. But without more information, its impossible to advise you on this particular case. All I am trying to do is answer your question and tell you that its possible.
