Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
I was arrested for breach of trust over 5000. The person who took out the warrant is not the owner of the property. He is not on the title or registration. Is this a legal warrant ? How can someone take out a warrant on property that is not his?

A person who swears out a warrant, is swearing that a crime has been committed. They are not necessarily swearing that THEY are the one that the crime was committed against. Take murder for example. Obviously someone other than the victim would be allowed to swear out the warrant, since the victim is dead.
There might be other defenses however. Your welcome to call
