Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

I was arrested for disorderly conduct and was wondering what I should do to possibly get it removed from my record. I have court this week but I'm not sure to plead guilty or not guilty. I'm 20 years old and have no prior arrests. I have a steady job and go to college on merit scholarship. I don't have the money for a lawyer so any advice as to what I should expect or what I can do would be greatly appreciated.

Even though you can't afford a lawyer, you still need to try and have a conversation with one. Ask about how to get into a program where you do community service, and they they dismiss the charge and expunge the record. In this area its called PTI, which stands for PreTrial Intervention
