Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

I was arrested for lewdness and assignation in addition to resisting arrest in South Carolina. I don't know whether to enter a plea of No Contest or Guilty. As far as the lewdness charge, there was no exposure or physical contact on my part. Thanks for your input.

I'm sorry, but I'm totally unable to provide you with any imput. I haven't the slightest idea what you would like to know. Also, in order to render a legal opinion, an attorney would have to know all of the details of the case, what happened, what the allegations are, witnesses, evidence, criminal record, defense attorney's recommendation, etc.

I'm sure you have some very legitimate concerns and questions. In all honestly you are probably far better off having a sit-down meeting with a criminal defense attorney as opposed to this site. This web site is nice for answering short, brief questions. But anything of significance you should really have a one-on-one conversation.

I wish you well.

You should get a lawyer and rely on her guidance. If you must go to your arraignment before you have been able to hire a lawyer, you should ask for a continuance so you can find one. If you can't afford a lawyer, say so at the arraignment and the court will begin the process of getting one appointed for you. And if the court insists that you enter a plea even before you get counsel, plead not guilty. You can always change that plea later if you want to.
