Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

assault

I need to find a lawyer to take on a new case for my husband. I don't have money but it was seen by our other lawyer and other guards are witnesses.

If this case is winnable, how do I ask lawyers that they will be paid when this is over. I am new to all this, so bare with me. I have alot of questions and one of my lawyers isn't quite helpful.

Re: assault

Its a little hard to answer your question without knowing what type of case it is. There are several ways a lawyer can be paid. They can be paid a flat fee, by the hour and on a contingency where they receive a percentage of what they recover for the client. You should make an appointment with an attorney that practices the type of law that this case pertains to go go meet with them.
