Re: bench warrants

It is legal to "hold" warrants under certain circumstances. There are several ways to have a bench warrant lifted. One, is to resolve the case with the solicitor and bring him to court on all the charges and have the bench warrant lifted all at the same time. Second, for a defense attorney and the prosecutor and enter an agreement on bond and do what is called a Consent Order for a judge to sign. Three, for a defense lawyer to Motion the court for a hearing on the bench warrant and ask the judge to lift it. Your welcome to call.

Re: bench warrants

It's legal to "hold" warrants until they can be served. THey don't expire. I don't know why they weren't all served when he was arrested, though. Does he have a public defender?
