Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Bigamy

My mother has been married twice by two differentmen and never divorced from either men.One in North Carolina and the other in South Carolina. Both men left her because of their own reason. I want to know is she breaking the law byusing either or both names on legal documents and loan company papers?

She really isn't married to the second one, since she was never divorced by the first. As far as using the names, its possible that there could be some fraud issues, but it would depend on a number of things. This is a very unusual situation and there is a lot to it.
