my brother got 45 years for something someone eles did do you think he kan get appeal and get his time cut down

I have no way of answering your question. Appeals are based on mistakes made in court. These are usually mistage made by the judge. A person cannot file an appeal simply because they do not like the outcome. There must be more.

Please understand that there are some very strict time-frames for filing an appeal. You cannot wait. If you or your brother think you might have something to appeal, you need to look into it ASAP.

These matters can become very expensive and cost thousands of dollars. If your brother cannot afford an attorney, he needs to contact South Carolina Appellett Defence and immediately get them involved.

Another option, is to retain an attorney who can get the prosecutor's file and the defense attorney's file and go over al of them. In addition, the attorney would also need to get the court transcripts if there was a trial.
