Burglary: Felony? Sentence?

Is burglary considered a felony? If so, what is the sentence one is expected to recieve for such a crime?

It is a felony. As far as the sentence, it varies. There are three different burglary statutes, with each carrying different jail term. A lot of different things are considered when the judge sentences someone, such as their record including if there are prior burglary convictions, the facts of the particualar burglary, personal history, age, work, etc. A lawyer would really have to have a lot more information before answering your question in detail.
