what can the police do if my husband was in the parking lot of C.V.S. at the time a crime was commited.....someones tires were slashed....he went to C.V.S. to pick up his prescription and was seen leaving at the time of this incident.....the police came to my home and wanted to talk to my husband...he wasn't home...I gave them his cell phone number.....they called him....and asked him if he had anything to do with this tire slashing...he a said absolutely not....why would I do something like that ...I just went to C.V.S. to pick up my prescription,,,,the officer said Thank You and hung up....I am very frightened by this ...what can happen...what legal rights does my husband have....no one saw him do anything ...someone saw him just leaving the parking lot of C.V.S......can they make a case out of this....I really would apppreciate a reply...my husband seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time !!!! Thank You....

Sounds like the police were just investigating. There was a crime, your husband happpened to be there, so they contacted him. I wouldn't give it another thought. Since he didn't do anything, there is no evidence against him, and he will probably never hear anything about this again.
