Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Case is reversed and remanded

I had charges filed for ''carrying'' a weapon on school property. I was given 3 years probation and a felony. The court of appeals reversed and remanded my case, but probation is telling me that I still have to go. I need some assistance in this matter as soon as possible. Thank you!

Re: Case is reversed and remanded

Its hard to advise you. When the Court of Appeals remands a case, they do it with instructions to the lower court to address one or more specific issues. I don't know what those are in your case. I also don't know if you had a trial or plead guilty. It would also be helpful to know what issues were appealed. You might try calling the appellete attorney that handled the appeal.
