Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Cdv

Is there a way to get the Order of Protection lifted?

Is there a way I can talk to him, or have someone talk to him about why our stories conflict?

Will I eventually need a lawyer, or do I need one for the hearing?

Is there some way, despite no-drop policy I can have the charges dropped?

If he gets convicted, he loses his job and can not pay child support for our son. This is not what I wanted to happen.

Why would you not want to say what the criminal charge is? I assume its some sort of an Assault & Battery, or maybe its Criminal Domestic Violence. I really hate to guess at it and can't imagine why you don't say. I also assume your the victim? And I assume that the Order of Protection is against "him?" Who is "him?" Were you arrested too? I would love to help but its hard with such little and vague information. An Order of Protection is something that is very difficult to have lifted. As far as whether you would need an attorney, I am not sure what your legal problem is.
