Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
I have been charged with felony breach of trust in one county, and obtaining goods under falses pretense in another county in SC for the same incident. I have hired a criminal attorney who was not able to get the charge dismissed in the first county dismissed at the preliminary hearing. I have no criminal record. These charges are related to a car lot that I owned but filed chapter 7 bankruptcy. What is the likely outcome for me?

I would like very much to answer your question, which is why I participate on this web site. However, I can't without more information.
Any of the possible outcomes will depend on, your record, the facts and circumstances of the case(s), and the evidence, the amount of evidence, the quality of the evidence, the amount of money is allegedly taken, whether the money has been returned or not, if the prosecutor can win a trial or not, and so on. There is just way too much information that I do not have.
Every case is treated solely on a "case-by-case" basis.
Good luck.
