Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
Hi,
If a charged murder suspect has not yet been convicted, would he retain the rights to the estate of the murder victim. The murder suspect and victim were married.

Although I have never encountered that particular situation, my guess would be that the court would put a hold on giving him anything until the murder charge is resolved. I can't think of any other logical approach.
