i was charged with a CDV and my girlfriend even told the arresting officers that i did not hit her we were just having an argument and it woke one of our neighbors in the apartment up and she called 911 will the charges be dropped since my girlfriend is going to testify that i didnt do anything to her

It would be irresponsible to try and answer your questions without knowing more. These cases are treated very seriously by the prosecutors. The only way an attorney can answer your question would be if he/she knew everything about the case. That would include the police report, knowing exactly what the neighbors said, 911 tape, witness statements, etc. What a defense attorney would do is receive all of the evidence from the prosecutor. If there is no evidence that a crime was committed, then the first thing an attorney would do is seek to have the charge dismissed. If your girlfriend is willing to testify that you did not do anything, then that would certainly be a step in the right direction.
