check forgery
If a person uses someone else checking account to pay a bill, then they report it to the police and the person paid them their money before a warrant was taken out, what type of charges would they be facing and would they receive any jail time.

The charges would be the same. Just because they paid them back doesn't negate the fact that a crime was committed. Jail time depends on how much was involved and the defendant's criminal record. Email for any other questions. [email protected]
