Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

what is considered contributing to the delinquency of a minor

I realize that drugs are illegal regardless, but if i had some and my child stole it from me is this considered contributing to the delinquency of a minor or does one actually have to give or sell to the minor?

That's a tough question. If you had illegal drugs and they were accessable to the minor due to your lack of care, then it could constitute the crime. You really need to sit down with a lawyer and go over the whole case.
