Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
Constant harrasement from neighbor
My neighbor has verbally harrased me and my family for the last three years, even threatening me. He came on my land and we got into a physical confrontation. The local police offer no help. They said it was mutual combat because I went out into my yard to defend my child. Is there anything I can do ?

Put up a No Trespassing sign. Next time he come on your land call the police and either ask them to arrest him for trespassing or get a police report and take it to your local Magistrate and ask him/her for a trespassing warrant. Be prepared to prove he actually trespassed. Have a camera ready.
