Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

does a contractor have the legal right to unlock and come into our condo without our permission or knowledge. I was sleeping when he tried to come into my condo. I have changed all the locks and told him he cannot ever enter into my condo.

Should I file a police report?

What was the reason he came in? Was there an emergency like a water or gas leak? If so he may have a legitimate reason to enter. If there was no reason, yes, file a police report. They can then figure out if there was a crime committed.
