Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
criminal domestic violence
First offense: can this be removed from a person's record if done so by an attorney? My son is having trouble getting a decent job because of this.

Re: criminal domestic violence
There is a way to have it expundged. Which does remove it from a person's record. Its also possible to do it without an attorney, but it can be a little complicated as it deals with forms that are sent to the Solicitor's office and certain court order(s). The only catch is that there is a 5 year waiting period in order to do it.
