Criminal Sexual Conduct With A Minor

My daughters father was jailed for criminal sexual conduct on her. Hasn't went to court yet. He hired a public defender on his behalf and she is trying to prolong the court date for as long as she can. He is still jailed. I need to know the minimun sentence he can get for this if he is found guilty. Little did I know before bond court, this would be his second offense. Also, is it possibe that he could get just time served?

There are several different Criminal Sexual Conduct charges, so its hard to answer some of your questions. I can tell you this. Although I don't know anything about the case, it would be unusal for someone to get Time Served for a second offense conviction. As the mother of the victim, you could probably call the Victim Advocate in the case about your other questions. If you don't know who it is you can call the Solititor and they can tell you.
