Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

i am just curious

If a person is being charged with involuntary manslaughter can he blame it on drugs and have that help him out alot better? Will they say he needs to go to rehad and not find him guilty? Can he blame his actions on drugs or alcohol and it work?

Drugs and alcohol is not a defense. Sometimes if used properly it could help in sentencing. There are other possible defenses to that and other crimes. Something as serious as this should be discussed in great detail with an attorney.
