Defrauding a Banking Institute
My husband was tried in Georgia for theft by taking of a bank that is located in South carolina. Now south carolina want to charge him again saying georgia could not prosecute their crime in there state.is this true or is there a such thing as ''Double Jeopardy?''

If a crime is committed in two states, both states can prosecute it and double jeopardy, which is two trials by the SAME sovereign, generally would not apply.
