As a victim of a crime, you may have recieved paperwork at the time of arrest. If so, there should be a phone number for a Victims Advocate. You can call the Victims Advocate and tell them how you feel about having the charge dismissed. You can also call the county solicitor's office and ask to speak with who ever the prosecutor might be and express your feelings to that individual as well. Your boyfriend should contact an attorney to represent him, who would be in the best position to help seek a dismissal.
