Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Exspungment

When I was 17 years old I took letters from a portable sign. Paid a fine of $75.00 and within the same year a friend ask me to pawn a 13'' tv for her because she did not have her license with her. I paid a fine of a $ 100.00. I am now 37 years old and have lived with this over my head for over twenty years. I tried to have them taken off my record but was told because I pled guilty that I could not have them removed. What can I do to get this monkey off my back.

Re: Exspungment

Your asking if these can be expunged. It sounds like they can, but you need to be able to recite the exact name of the criminal charges. Do you have any of the paperwork, know what court it was in, or have any other information?
