Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Failure to re-pay personal loan

In September of 05 I loaned a friend almost $10,000.00. This was to be a short-term loan with a promise to re-pay in October, November of 05 at the latest. What recourse do I have if any? I live in Nebraska; he now is in South Carolina.

Thank you for your time in this matter, your help is greatly appreciated. I just have no idea where to start.

Re: Failure to re-pay personal loan

You need to exhaust every effort to get him to pay. Because if he doens't your only option would be to sue him. You can check with your local court for advise or ask an attorney how to do it. I don't have enought information to tell you which state you need to do it it. Suing is not easy so try your best to get him to pay.
