Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Off the top of my head I don't recall. But I know that what ever it is, what is more controling over what sort of sentence a person receives, is their record, how they handle the case, if properly represented, etc. I will answer a question as to the sentence and I completely understand why its being asked. I would ask too. But there is far more to it than that. Some people don't get anywhere near what the law potentially calls for. Others, on the other hand, might receive the full sentence or near it. There is just a lot to consider.
