Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

first-time offender

I was charged with breach of trust with my ex-employer, the security people there did not read me my rights before asking me questions about the crime I was being accused of. I was arrested and even the police officer asked if I was Mirandaized and I told her no and even she did not read me my rights. My question is was any of that legal if I was never read my right before being interrogated my the security team at the job????

There is no law that absolutely requires the police to read a person their rights. What the law says is, if they do not read you your rights, then anything you say might not be admissible in court. I'm a little bit confused with your question. Was it the security people that arrested you or the police? Your welcome to call. Robert Johnston (843) 828-1137
