If I understand your question, your asking if they can prosecute this person on evidence other than your testimony. You said that they admited to it. But you didn't say who they admited it to. Did they admit it to the police? Is there finger prints, did they catch them with anything that was taken from the home? Are there other witnesses? Is there other defendants?
