Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
I went to a gun shop with my fiance, we look at a glock. I asked him if he wanted that one he said yes, I told the clerk we will take it. he was paying for it and it was gonna be in his name. the clerck wouldn't sell it to him because he said I made the deal and it was against the straw purching law! Is that true

Its really just too hard to give legal advise for you. Obviously, there was more to the conversation than what you explained. I don't that offensively. Its just that its obvious that there was more words said and the conversation was more involved. Without having heard the whole thing, it would be poor lawyering to comment on a partial conversation. My guess is that it was most likely just a misunderstanding.
