Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

hIGHLY AGGERVATED ASSULT ON A MINOR

They have only his word against her word is all the evidence they have. She is13 and he is 21.The lawyer,We don't thimnk he has our best interest at heart. He was paid 10,000 dollars and has only a plea bargain, nothing else.If we fire him do we get the money back right or do we have to wait? And what advise can you give me on a case like this.Can you recommend a lawyer in our area that is good in this field?

You never said what the charge was so its very hard to give you any advise about the case. As far as getting money back, I really don't know much about the agreement with the lawyer, nor what the contract says, nor how long the lawyer has been on the case nor how much time or expenses the lawyer has into it.
