Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

My husband was charged with felony possession of steroids in SC. The drugs were illegally taked by law enforcement. He has gotten his parents, who were the only witness to the incident, to write affidavits on his behalf the illegal search and seizure. Law enforcement wrote a false and different account of the events on his arrest warrant. How strong is his case to get the charges dismissed with just witness affidavits?

It would be extremely difficult to get the charges dismissed. It is very common for people to disagree with what the police allege happened. The courts will usually give the police a lot of believeability in these matters. It is extremely advisable to have the entire case reviewed by an attorney. Although this web site is nice for general legal questions, it should not be relied on in place of an actualy legal consultation with a practicing attorney.
