Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
My husband was convicted & now I'm being questioned
The FBI investigated my husband and eventually charged him with copyright infringement. He signed a plea agreement and is currently serving out his sentence. Now, the FBI is leaving messages on my home answering machine requesting to speak with me. I am not sure why they would be contacting me after my husband has been prosecuted. This particular agent did take some evidence from the evidence vault related to my husband's case just a couple of days after my husband reported to prison (that was almost 2 months ago). Should I consult an attorney or should I return the agents call?
